Walter Palmer, et al...

It isn't guilt or innocence that has people so incensed about Walter Palmer and the Cecil the Lion murder, it is the man's lack of empathy and morals plus the fact that he is prepared to spend $50K to satisfy the sadistic pleasure of murdering an innocent beautiful member of another species. We all know; and he admits, he did it. That is not in question. The only issue in the public eye has been whether or not it was considered legal. It was legal. All this means is that the country allowing such activities is either beneath contempt, or extremely ignorant of environmental issues.

Foreigners who take advantage of a country with a lack of morals are narcissistic and repugnant.

Foreigners who take advantage of a country's ignorance are narcissistic and repugnant.

So either way, hunting in an age of greater understanding and awareness of the balance of nature, the planet and the environment just to satisfy some personal sadistic pleasure is to disregard the life of all species on this planet, including our future generations.

Walter Palmer and his "supporters" needn't cry foul that "many others do this, he's just being picked on, what about the others...?" No, Walter Palmer isn't the only one being shamed in public and on social media, any simple search will reveal many whose names have been shamed for their hunting offences - maybe not legal offences but most certainly moral offences. It took me less than two minutes to find quite a list of others who have had negative newspaper articles and/or social media slams against them for their despicable hunting activities and narcissistic bragging:

Eric and Donald Trump, Jr. - Rebecca Francis - Melisa Bachman - AA Gill - King Juan Carlos of Spain - Eva Longoria - Daniel Ashe - Sarah Palin - Toby Hutcheson - Sabrina Corgatelli - Antonie Lotter - Prince William - Prince Harry - Glenn McGrath - Bob Parsons -

Karl Malone - Kendall Jones - Dustin M Etchison - ...and so many more!!

Amazingly enough I also found many articles by well respected qualified individuals who cite this kind of behaviour as being a "mental illness". I wonder how long it will take before it is legally treated as such? Sadly those who engage in this kind of psychopathic sadism are usually wealthy and/or powerful enough to block those who care and want to stop it, but the world is changing fewer and fewer countries are now allowing hunting and many have cracked down severely on poaching; If we could just do something about these wealthy psycopathic sadists...

Just my opinion...
